I am such a fan of how Mary teaches! There are so many adjustments possible for whatever your body needs at any given time, and Mary knows them all. If you have a chance to do a retreat, take it!
Frequently Asked Questions
I am pregnant. Can I come?
Absolutely. I am a certified prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher, and will help you adapt the poses to your unique needs.
I am completely new to yoga. Will this be too hard for me?
No yoga experience required. I will offer lots of options and modifications to suit varying levels of ability.
Will there be a place where I can pump?
Yes! The kitchenette is equipped with a full-size refrigerator where you can store your milk, and a sink with hot water where you can wash your pump parts.
I don't plan to participate in the yoga classes. Can I get a discount?
No, the price of the retreat is fixed, regardless of your level of participation.
Do I need to pack my own lunch and snacks?
No. A simple breakfast, a catered lunch, and snacks will be provided to you. You're welcome to bring your own food if you prefer. There is plenty of storage available in the refrigerator if you bring your own food.
Vegan and vegetarian lunch options will be available.
What do I need to bring?
- A yoga mat. A limited number of yoga mats are available on site on a first come/first serve basis
- A mug
- Water bottle
- A place to take notes
- I also recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray and a book to read during downtime.
Will there be parking?
Parking is limited. Please carpool if you are planning to come as a group.
Are there any rules I should be aware of?
Yes. Swimming in the pond is strictly prohibited. Smoking on site is strictly prohibited. You may not bring or use firearms, fireworks, and glitter/confetti on the property.
