Meet Your Presenters
Kyrsten Spurrier
is a pelvic floor occupational therapist, and the proud owner of The Perinatal Pelvis in Hillsborough, NC. Kyrsten is able to do internal pelvic floor work like you would get with any other pelvic floor therapist, but she also looks at your lifestyle, habits and routines as well as the extra stresses on your life that are impacting your pelvic floor function. She believes every mom should feel empowered, supported and strong in their bodies. In this workshop, Kyrsten will teach you exactly what to do in your first 6-weeks postpartum, and teach you realistic expectations for your postpartum recovery.
Tracy Williams Lenhardt
is an Internatonal Board Certified Lactation Consultant. After receiveing help from wonderful lactation consultants after the birth of her daughter, she decided to pursue a career to help support parents and babirs. Tracy has volunteered as La Leche League Leader for 8 years and has also worked as a postpartum doula begore starting her lactation practice. In the workshop, Tracy will teach you what you need to know about breastfeeding.
Kelly Smedley
is the founder and owner of Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, a group practice of therapists and nurse practitioners in Durham, NC. Waypoint focuses on providing mental health support both through individual counseling and medication management for prenatal and postnatal moms, and beyond. Kelly is a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist with over 20 years working in mental health. She was one of the first providers in the country to become perinatal mental health certified. She is also a mom to five children... 4 here on earth, and 1 in heaven. Kelly is passionate about providing adequate support to moms during such a vulnerable time.
Marina Pearsall
is a registered dietitian nutritionist who provides nutrition counseling and support during pre-pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. She will be providing information about what your body needs during the postpartum period, and how to stay full and satisfied when your life feels crazy.
Mary Reddinger
is a prenatal, postnatal, vinyasa and private yoga teacher. Mary has been teaching yoga full-time for over five years. Mary completed her initial 200-hour training in 2018, while she was pregnant with her second baby. Yoga has supported Mary physically and mentally throughout her motherhood journey, and it's her passion to share this practice with other moms. Since her initial training, Mary has completed her pre/postnatal yoga certification, as well as continuing education in anatomy and pain science. She recently became a certified pre and postnatal corrective exercise specialist!

Will lunch be provided?
Yes, we will provide lunch, along with snacks and beverages. We will have options for various dietary needs.
What do I need to bring?
If you have a yoga mat and towel at home, please bring those with you. We also suggest you bring a sweater or sweatshirt to layer in case you get cold.
Can I bring my baby?
Yes, you can bring your baby. We do ask that you leave older children at home.
May I bring my partner?
Yes, you may bring your partner at no additional cost.
